Jose's Hi-5: Best Places To Meet People

Ola Amigos!

I just want to share some of the places I find easy to meet new people. Changchun is a friendly place, with so many different places. It's unfair to so many great places, but I had to narrow it down to five.

ba_chezmanman

Chez Manman: Every bread loving expat will come to Chez manman at least once over the weekend to pick up bread. Stay for a coffee and see who walks in the door.

Grandpa's: Usually the first stop of call for any newcomer to Changchun. Just walk inside, and say you're new in town. You'll be looked after from there.

Happy Home: Its only been open two weeks, but I've met so many friendly people there. The owner's name is Happy, and he said he wanted to make his home a "Happy Home". He has done a good job.

ca_millas1

Milla's Café: Friday afternoon is the time to be at Milla's, home to Changchun's TGIF. A very friendly place to be.

Paul's Pizza: Paul's a fun guy who knows how to cook pizza the way the Portuguese like them! The art on the walls is very contemporary.
