The Drei Kronen, a micro-brewery tied to German franchisers, has an outdoor area. To get to the restaurant, you must look out for it. The place is screened by pine trees. Watch for the bus stop shelter, behind which you should be able to see the restaurant. If you look up, you will see the big yellow sign, complete with Percherons and a beer keg wagon.

From the owners of Grampa's comes the Thai Curry House. Located just around the corner, it has the similar food, but in a different environment. It has a lovely beer garden out the back. For those who need a break from the Grandpa's environment, but still want the food.

Up near Ouya, this is one of the many Western/Korean style restaurants. Very atmospheric. One of the few restaurants in Changchun where you can have a quiet, romantic meal.

Papa's is a Korean restaurant chain with several branches across Changchun. This one in this review is located opposite Changchun University Campus, on Weixing Lu. Nanguan area.

Papa's offers a huge variety of food and salads (this is a big plus). The restaurant inside is very clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and service is very good. Of course Papa's is not as cheap as the current Korean or Chinese local places but its not extremely expensive either.

Beer pitchers and English menu are available.
